Einstein in the News!

Ms. Rachel helps a small group of second graders discover components of our research-based phonological awareness program, NOW! Foundations for Speech, Language, Reading and Spelling. Using mirrors, mouth pictures, reasoning/executive functioning and their own sensory feedback, our students markedly improve their phonological awareness and then their speech, reading and spelling skills.

After many efforts to reach out to our legislators in an attempt to continue providing education for future years, The Einstein School sees positive results. A new exemption from Florida's school grading system grants a fair evaluation of our student body's progress. The Gainesville Sun continues their interest in our school's legislative affairs on their newspaper and online articles.

Founded in 1999, The Einstein School was started as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charter school in Gainesville, FL established to serve the population of students with learning disabilities in reading, writing, speech and/or language skills. Our research based teaching methods have helped our students develop the skills needed for better academic performance, higher self-esteem, and a greater occupational future!
